Mirror Image

“I am beautiful as hell,” she thought,
As she looked in the mirror.
She looked away,
Then looked back again,
Before deciding not
To let anyone else hear her.
“Yeah, definitely,” she thought,
After she took her second
Through
Uncountable
Number of looks.
“Naw, I’ll keep it to myself.
I can’t let my confidence be stolen
By any of these little crooks.”

“Does everybody else also realize
The beauty that I see?”
“Or is it possible that my realization
May not really be?”
“Yeah, right,” she thought as she smiled.
“I am beautiful as hell,” she replied to Herself,
With so much reassurance that
She could probably convince
Anyone she was to tell.

“Hi,” she said in a smooth voice
To the other soul,
With the magnificent smile.
In return she received a kiss, and
The joy of wandering hands
All the while.

Much love is felt,
And my beauty:
It’s definite.
Nothing more needs to be said.
Love.
Peace.
Awareness.
The Most High
Shines,
Sitting under the light
That is red.
